Why become a member of the Connect Programme?

Through FREE membership you will have the opportunity to access valuable information, attend a range of workshops and 1-2-1 mentoring and explore career options.

The Connect Programme is designed in a way that allows members to get what they need, as and when they need it.  This open access approach gives members the freedom and flexibility to access as little or as much of the programme activities as they wish.

What are the benefits of Connect Programme membership?

We could all do with some support and practical advice when faced with the challenges of finding a job or starting a business. 

Connect is a FREE programme specifically for women who are currently economically inactive or working/ studying less than 16 hours per week.

Who can become a member of the Connect Programme?

Any woman can become a member, but specifically those who want to enter or return to the workforce, and women who would like to support these women.

This includes women who:

  • are unemployed

  • have been made redundant

  • have just finished full-time education

  • have been out of the labour market due to childcare/family care

  • are under-employed

  • are part-time students

  • are lone parents

  • lack educational background or qualifications

  • are on Incapacity Benefit and/or Disability Living Allowance who may be able to work part time

  • have long term disabilities

  • have other caring responsibilities
